Managing The Air Around You
Unwanted air enters buildings through a variety of openings
such as gaps in windows and doors, and invisible cracks between
building materials.
The primary cause of this uncontrolled infiltration is negative internal
pressure created by process exhaust, temperature differential, and natural
infiltration created by the wind.
Rapid 'Pressurair' ®
systems introduce sufficient outside air to slightly pressurise the building to enable
full control of the internal environment. The supply air is heated to a level which mixes
readily with the existing indoor air providing extremely accurate temperature distribution
without ductwork.
'Free Cooling' is naturally available during warmer, ambient temperatures by maintaining the fan
operation only, and therefore offsetting internal heat gains. Additional mechanical cooling may be
applied where lower internal temperatures are required.
Rapid offers highly effective solutions to a wide range of demands for outdoor
air heating. These may be applied to a large variety of both industrial and commercial buildings,
including aircraft hangars, warehouses, work spaces, swimming pools, cinemas, sport and leisure
facilities.
The intelligent electronic controls are fully automatic and highly responsive. They optimise the
system at varying levels of demand and external conditions, for example, changes in occupancy, exhaust,
doors opening and closing, process heat gains and losses and humidity levels.
