Rapid specialises in the design, fabrication and commissioning of high-efficiency air heating and handling equipment, fully supported by an exclusive manufacturing license with Rapid Engineering Inc., Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, the originator of the 'Pressurair' ^® concept.

Following a period of carefully planned growth, our highly-skilled multi-disciplined staff moved into new purpose-built premises at Harrogate in 1998. Our 2500m² factory and office includes a two-bay covered production area. One bay is served by a five tonne capacity overhead crane and the other by a 16 tonne capacity overhead crane. A similar sized area immediately adjacent to the existing fabrication shop is reserved for future expansion. A separate workshop within the complex houses facilities for building and testing the control systems used within our equipment.

Rapid identifies and delivers bespoke technical solutions; therefore in-house design expertise has always been at the heart of the company and we invest heavily in the latest design packages including AutoCAD, PROMIS-E and Mechanical Desktop. Our design team routinely works to a wide range of design codes including BS 5986 and BS EN 525.

The company is registered to BS EN ISO 9001:1994. Quality assurance has a high priority in recognition of the needs of all our clients who use our products in a range of demanding applications.
